Mohammad Maqbool Mir age about 40 years son of Jumma Mir resident of Chatergul Balla was injured when he was attacked by a bear at Chatergul forest, Ganderbal, in Kangan area. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kangan for treatment, where from he was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further for further treatment.
A police statement said on Monday that three ladies Maimoona, age about 30 years daughter of Ghulam Qadir Gojree, resident of Watlar, Poosha, age about 25 years, daughter of Ghulam Qadir Gojeer resident of Kondabal and Haleema age about 18 years daughter of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Kondabal were also attacked and injured by a bear at Watlar, Ganderbal. The injured ladies were taken to Public Health Center, Watlar for treatment.
