SRINAGAR
A 35 years old Mohammad Ashraf Sheroo son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheroo resident of Bathin, Khrew was attacked and injured by a bear in the forest area of Bathin, in Pampore.
A police statement said on Tuesday.
The injured was shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment.
Meanwhile, the body of drowned person was retrieved from Jehlum in Bandipora last evening.
The body of Syed Irfan Ahmad Geelani son of Syed Aashiq Hussain Geelani resident of Safapora, Asham was fished out near Zonopora, Asham.
He was drowned in river Jehlum on July 28. The police statement said that the body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
