Two shepherds are reported to be in a critical condition after wild bear mauled them Tuesday at Tosamaidan meadow in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Abdul Ahad Chopan, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Lalpora Beerwah and Mohammad Afzal Khan of Yarinar Sugen Khag were immediately rushed to SKIMS hospital at Soura yesterday.

Badly mutilated bodies of the duo were recovered from Gatemarg Bahak of Tosamaidan. The condition of Abdul Ahad is said to be critical.
