Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu and Kashmir Thursday evening extending its support to strike call against the beef ban pronounced in a verdict by a division bench in Jammu on Wednesday.
Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called for strike on Saturday against the High Court order which has asked police to implement the ban on beef sale.
In a statement, JeI spokesperson said, “Jama’at supports the strike call against the beef ban order which is against the Islamic principles.”
