A paramilitary CRPF officer died of cardiac arrest in Pampore town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

A police officer told GNS that Assistant ASI Jagdish Chand of CRPF 110 Battalion suffered a cardiac arrest at his camp in Frestbal area of Pampore town today morning.

Jagdish, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, was immediately taken to the sub-district hospital Pampore by his colleagues. However, the doctors there declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case under section 174 Cr Pc in this regard and starts further investigations.
