Bengaluru police arrest son of former Kashmir lawmaker over allegations of sexual harassment

The son of former Kashmiri lawmaker has been arrested by police in Bengaluru in Karnataka in South India over the allegations of sexually harassing women.

The culprit has been identified as Habib Ghani son of Abdul Ghani Malik.  Bengaluru police confirmed his arrest to Kashmir Life.

“He is alleged to have harassed nearly 300 women. He is arrested for preying on women who attended job interviews and sexually abusing them,” reports said.

Police have arrested him after a victim filed the complaint with Bengaluru police. He is accused of having misused the official records to obtain the phone numbers of women at a company where he works as part time employee, reports added.
