The residents of Baba Mohalla and adjacent areas of Bijbehara town Wednesday said that their area is without water supply from last one week.
Besides, the residents alleged that they get to see the electricity only four hours per 24 hours inspite of being a metered area.
Bijbehara is the hometown of CM Mehbooba Mufti.
Speaking to Kashmir Life over phone, one of the locals said that they approached the authorities of PHE for the water supply issue, who told them that will be able to provide the water supply for 2 hours per 24 hours only.
The residents accused that the electricity is playing hide n seek. “Despite being a metered area we encounter 18-20 hour power cuts daily.”
They appealed to the authorities to look into the matter and address their grievances forthwith.
