As the per attendant of a youth who was critically injured in CRPF shelling early today in Bijbehara town of south Kashmir, the boy has been operated upon and is “stable” right now.

“The doctors have performed his surgery just now,” one of the attendants told Kashmir Life. “We have been informed by doctors that his condition is out of danger now.”

The youth identified as Naseer Ahmed Dar of Zirpora Bijbehara was hit by a shell on his head during a protest and was referred to Srinagar in a critical condition. Earlier protests broke out in the parts of South Kashmir on third consecutive day against the murder of Zahid Rasool Bhat.
