Bijebihara massacre is a blot on the face of so-called Indian democracy and a cruel reminder if it’s military rule on Jammu Kashmir. Kashmiris are fighting for their birth right of self-determination and freedom. This was stated by the chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik while remembering the slain men who fell to bullets on October 22, 1993 at Bijebihara while protesting against the discretion of Dargah-I-Hazratbal Srinagar.

A JKLF delegation reached Bijebihara and participated in a congregational prayers meeting held at their graveyard in Bijebihara.
JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik said that “from 1947 till now more than five Lakh Kashmiris have been martyred by forces of evil. Massacres at Jammu, Srinagar, Sopore, Handwara, Sailan Poonch, Baderwah, Bijebihara, Islamabad, Gawkadal, Zakoora, Batamalo Bypass and other places are actually a blot on the face of so-called biggest democracy of India which has chosen to suppress the peaceful voices of people of Jammu Kashmir by military might.” He said that these massacres and failure of Indian democracy and the international community in penalizing the murderous and deliver justice to the victims is actually a criminal.

“It is tyrannical behavior against humans and the failure of the international community in delivering justice to the people of Jammu Kashmir,” he said and added that despite of these gruesome oppressive measures Indians have failed to stop our march towards freedom and with Allah’s grace and help this blood soaked resistance movement will achieve its desired goal.
