Terming the killing of a 25 years youth Tahir Ahmad Sofi in Baramulla by army on Tuesday another instance of the failure of state government to protect the innocent lives in Kashmir, JKPC has strongly condemning the use of force by men in uniform on protesters.

According to statement issued to KNS, Chairman Jammu Kashmir peoples conference Bilal Gani one has said that as the people in valley were yet to come out of the grief of brutal and mysterious killing of Mudasir Kamran in Hyderabad, the killing in baramulla has come as a shocker which has added to the worries of the people who have already been felling alienated.

“Chairman emphasized that when separatist leadership has been stressing the need of scraping special power act (AFFSA) along with other draconian laws in Jammu and Kashmir, it was pathetic to see the pro Indian political establishment making mockery of it in the assembly and trying to play with the emotions of the distressed people by staging, “drama” and shedding crocodile tears”, reads the statement issued here.

“Bilal Gani lone underscored the need of immediate revocation of AFSPA from the state to pave way for peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue and demanded stern action against those involved in Tahir Ahmad Sofi and Mudasir Kamran`s killing”, it added.
