SRINAGAR: Former Minister and National Conference Senior Leader Ajay Kumar Sadhotra said that BJP double engine Sarkar in Jammu and Kashmir has made 2021 year of disappointment for the people especially youth by pushing Jammu and Kashmir towards identity, culture, jobs and land crises instead of pulling out from this crisis as people of Ladakh have been given resident certificate instead of Domicile Certificates.
Ajay Kumar Sadhotra while addressing a meeting of Block Committee Mandal held under the Chairmanship of Bishan Dass Block President Mandal and was organized by Lajpal Bhagat Senior Vice President at Suanjana (Nasi Basti) in Marh).
He said that it is unfortunate in Jammu and Kashmir jobs and land security is further being eroded under the garb of holistic development by signing MOU in Real Estate summit .
“Govt should have further strengthened the provision of guarantee to provide jobs to local youth and jobs should not be of only labour but at all level. In all the private sectors 90% jobs be reserved for local youth in order to redress the genuine & just demand of the common youth of J&K,” he added.
Sadhotra said BJP double engine Govt in J&K has brought unemployment at the level of 21% against National average of 7%. This steep rise in unemployment speaks of anti youth policies of the BJP.
He further said that BJP in 2021 also gave unprecedented price hike of essentials and people especially women folk are badly hit by price rise as it has become very difficult for our mothers and sisters to run their kitchens.
Sadhotra appealed to the double engine govt of BJP to give resident certificate instead of Domicile Certificate to give belonging and security to the youth like Ladakh to people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He also demanded statehood before election so that genuine urges & aspirations of the people could be fulfilled and asked BJP not to put Cart before the horse.
Congratulating the people on the eve of 2022 Sadhotra hoped that the New Year will bring peace, prosperity and security of job, land, culture and identity.
