Ruling out the possibility of BJP’s hand in attack over Kashmiri truckers, People’s Democratic Party Monday said that the ruling party can never indulge in any act that may disturb peace in the State.

Ruling coalition partner PDP’s senior leader and Minister for information and technology Imran Raza Ansari told CNS that a conspiracy is being hatched against the PDP-BJP government in the State. “Some political parties are not comfortable with the government and they want PDP to detach from its coalition partner. Both PDP and BJP are concerned over the communal violence and are both the parties pitch for the stringent punishment for the culprits,” he said adding that miscreants who attacked Kashmiri drivers would be exposed and their background would be made public.

“There are clear-cut directions from the Central BJP leadership to the State leadership that treat Kashmir and Jammu on equal basis. We should not forget that BJP is the part of the government and it can never do anything that could disturb the peace and communal harmony in the state,” he said and added that Opposition parties eagerly want to see PDP parting its ways with the BJP.

Ansari said that the need of the hour is to resolve all the issues and not to instigate violence by issuing communal statements.
