The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday evening said that a blast was reported from south Kashmir’s Awantipota area; however, there were immediate reports of any loss.
“A blast has been reported from #Awantipora. Officer from local #police unit are ascertaining facts at the spot. No loss of life or any injury has been reported. @JmuKmrPolice,” Police wrote on Twitter.
Despite posting it on the official twitter handle of Jammu and Kashmir police https://twitter.com/KashmirPolice a police spokesman from PCR Awantipora denied the reports of such incident. “Nothing happened here, we don’t know anything,” the policeman said.
