Police recovered body of a missing girl from the Power Canal at Gutli Bagh, Ganderbal on Wednesday, acpolice statement said.
The deceased was reported to be missing since 9th June from Kangan.
“Ganderbal Police today recovered the body of a girl Shahnaza daughter of Ghulam Mohi-u-Din Shah resident of Chinner, Kangan from a Power Canal near Warpash, Gutli Bagh,” the statement said.
“After conducting medico-legal formalities police handed over the body of deceased girl to her relatives for last rites,” kit added.
