Srinagar: A dead body of a missing person was recovered from Nallah Sindh in Watalbagh area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday, police said.
An official said that a mentally unsound person identified as Abdul Salam Bhat, 41, son of Late Ali Mohd Bhat, a resident of Yenhama Lar town of Ganderbal, was missing since June 4. the official added that they have recovered the body from Nallah Sindh at Watalbagh in the jurisdiction of police station Lar, Ganderbal.
When contacted Station House Officer Lar Lateef Ali, he said that the dead has been recovered from Nallah Sindh here in Watalbagh and police has registered a case under section number 174 RPC and further investigations have also been taken up.
