Police Monday claimed to have recovered a body of a suspected militant along with a pistol from Jhelum river in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The police official couldn’t immediately confirm the identity of the deceased.
“To identity the deceased,” the official said, “relatives of several active militants have been called in.”
