A man was found dead near a railway fly over in Qazigund, Kulgam, police said on Tuesday.
A male body was found lying in a drain near Railway flyover at Wangund, Kulgam. The deceased was later identified as 29 years old Irshad Ahmed Rather son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Takia Magam, Kokernag.
Kulgam Police has initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives after completion of all legal formalities.
