One more person died and four others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir leaving four dead and 30 injured.

As per a police spokesperson, an unidentified vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Qadir Dar, age about 60 years, son of Mohammad sultan resident of Raki Chark, Batamaloo near Sabzi Mandi opposite Tattoo ground, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.

Meanwhile a School Mini Bus bearing registration number JK05/0373 collided with a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK04B/8264 at Kachmatipora, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the Maruti Car driver Naveed Ahmed Mir son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kachmatipora. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

In another accident a Sumo bearing registration number JK09/4560 hit and injured two pedestrians Mst Zeba Begum, age about 50 years wife of Abdul Jabbar Mallah resident of Shart Gund, Payeen and a baby Bazala age about 4 years daughter of Mohammad Maqbool Ganie resident of Wal Raman Shanoo near Kulangam, Handwara. Both the injured have been shifted to Chogal Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/1259 hit and injured a pedestrian Shoaib Akhter Mir age about, 8 years, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Kawa Mohalla at Wavoora, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Sogam. The injured has been shifted to Sogam Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
