The report said the alleged threat was circulated online by individuals identified as Arzu Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi, who were described as associates of Lawrence Bishnoi. The authenticity of the post and voice note has not been independently verified.

According to NDTV, the message accused Khan of promoting “love jihad”, an allegation reportedly linked to his recent marriage to Gauri Spratt, and warned of consequences for those allegedly encouraging such behaviour.

The post also reportedly referred to the recent case of a 13-year-old girl in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, who was allegedly abducted, trafficked and sexually assaulted. While praising the authorities’ response in the case, the message reportedly warned political figures against protecting any of the accused, claiming they would face similar consequences.

Mumbai Police are examining the social media content and the accompanying voice note as part of their assessment, the report said.

According to NDTV, neither Khan nor his representatives have so far lodged a formal complaint with the police.

Khan, 61, married his partner Gauri Spratt earlier this year, marking his third marriage. The reported threat makes him the latest Bollywood personality to be allegedly targeted by individuals claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
