Radio channel, 98.3, was officially launched in Srinagar city on Sunday with Bollywood rapper Badshah, unveiling the station.
During the event, the radio jockeys chosen for broadcasting in the city, which includes Mehak, Raffia, Vijdan, and Sayema, were introduced to the audience.
Regional Director-North and east, Radio Mirchi, Nitin Singh, while commenting on the occasion said that the team is very happy that they have finally reached to Srinagar. “We hope that the people of the valley like the content that we have created especially for them and our aim is to spread happiness amongst our listeners by bringing them very best in entertainment.”
After inaugurating the event, the rap star and singer Badshah during an interaction with the audience said “I wish the station all the very best in Srinagar, they have big plans for the city and I am sure the listeners will love the content they put.
Badshah, who has sung several hit numbers for Bollywood movies, also launched his latest hit single-Heartless-from his debut album.
