Ahead of Salman Khan’s post-bail travel scheduled for later next week, Bollywood flew Vashu Bhagnani to Srinagar along with Lauren Gotlieb, an ‘item girl’ in Arshad Warsi’s upcoming ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’. The visit was aimed at promoting the comedy, slated to be released later May, at a place where no cinema halls function since 1989.
Bhaganani and Gotlieb re-enacted some song sequences for the media persons who responded to the interaction request. His father is producing the comedy. The actor said they are exploring possibilities to have some cinema hall reopened and have zeroed in on four.
Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed visited Mumbai last fortnight and had prolonged interactions with the Bollywood biggies. Officials said that he was responded well and many crews are flying to Kashmir, this season. Salman Khan was already shooting for Bajrangi Baijaan in Kashmir when Mufti visited Mumbai. Sources closer to crew said that Khan is expected later next week with lead female Kareena Kapur to complete his last scenes in the film. The shooting is still going on.
