A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Tanghdar area of Kupwara District.
According to the police, one 60 years old Nazim Jan was brutally beaten and critically injured by her husband Ghulam Rasool Khan son of Haba Khan resident of Nowpora Suliman Tanghdar.
“The woman was shifted to SKIMS Soura where she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up,” a police statement said this evening.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of deceased lady was handed over to her relatives for last rites.”
