Minister for Medical Education and Youth Service and Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din Monday asked the Crime Branch to speed up the investigation in the BOPEE scam and come out with a list of students who got admitted the MBBS course through dubious means.

Commenting on the strike by the under graduate students at the Srinagar and Jammu medical colleges, the Minister said as soon as the Crime Branch comes out with the list of students who secured admissions through CET examinations by paying bribe, their recognition would be cancelled there and then.

Taj appealed the students of both GMCs to maintain calm and cooperate with the Government and let the investigating agency get out the truth.
