SRINAGAR
An eight-year-old boy drowned in Pattan area of Baramulla District last evening.
According to police spokesman, an Eight-year-old boy Adnan drowned in Ferozpora Nalah at Trikolbal village, in the jurisdiction of Police station Pattan.
Spokesman further said that with the assistance of specialist rescue teams of river Police Nehru Park, Srinagar and MARCOS (of the Indian Navy) have been pressed into service to trace out the body of the drowned boy. Police officers are supervising the search operation. The body of drowned boy was not traced, till last reports came in.
