SRINAGAR: Baby boy in Ganderbal’s Naranag area of Kashmir died accidentally Friday morning when he skidded off from the bank and drowned in River Sindh in Naranag.
The boy has been identified as Nazakat Ahmad Jagal S/O Mohammad younis Jagal of Naranaga Ganderbal. He was nearly 5 years old.
Reports said that locals fished out the body and shifted it to Kangan Hospitals where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police in Ganderbal confirmed the occurrence of incident. A police official at PCR Ganderbal told Kashmir Life over phone that the incident took place in the morning.
