SRINAGAR: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Saturday launched Bharatgas Lite ZIP, its premium Free Trade LPG service, in Srinagar, offering instant LPG connections and cylinder delivery within four hours.
The service was launched at New Pamposh Enterprises, Soura, and inaugurated by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Hazratbal Arslan Hamal in the presence of BPCL officials and other dignitaries.
According to BPCL, Bharatgas Lite ZIP integrates a digitally enabled service model with the company’s lightweight composite LPG cylinder, targeting working professionals, students, the floating population and other consumers seeking quicker and more convenient access to LPG services.
Addressing the launch, Territory Manager Manoj Kumar said the initiative marked an important step towards building a future-ready LPG ecosystem.
“Through instant onboarding and express delivery, we aim to make LPG services faster, smarter and more accessible,” he said.
Sales Officer Sheikh Hamzah Javeed said the service provides simplified onboarding for instant connections, cylinder delivery within four hours, and lightweight, corrosion-free, transparent composite cylinders designed to improve safety and ease of handling.
BPCL said Bharatgas Lite ZIP has been launched initially in 30 cities across the country and will be expanded to 100 cities across 24 states by August 15, 2026, with the addition of another 70 cities before a wider nationwide rollout.
The company said the initiative reflects its focus on technology-driven and customer-centric LPG services.
