Gunshots were heard late Tuesday evening in South Kashmir’s Lassipora Pulwama.
According to reports, there was a brief exchange of fire between militants and police. The incident occurred after a police party stopped a load carrier for frisking. The militants in the load carrier according to police officials started firing on the cops. The fire was retaliated.
Later militants along with load carrier driver had fled from the spot. “Taking advantage of darkness, they fled from the spot,” police official told Kashmir Life
He said a search operation has been launched to nab the militants.
