Over a dozen non-local labourers were injured when a truck belonging to Border Roads Organisation (BRO) turned turtle in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday morning.

A police official told CNS that a blue color numberless truck belonging to Beacon was carrying over two dozen labourers towards its destination. “The driver lost control near Gund Dachna area of the district and the truck overturned and fell into a paddy field, resulting in the injuries of at least 17 labourers.

“Among the injured five labourers have received some grievous wounds while rest of the injured after receiving first aid in the nearby hospital were discharged from the hospital,” police said.
