SRINAGAR: A border security force (BSF) man allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that Kundan Ram of the 169 Battalion was posted in Branwari area of Kupwara. He shot himself on Friday early morning died on spot, the officials said.
He said the motive behind his taking the extreme step was not known immediately.
A case has been registered.
