The Legislative Council Monday issued provisional calendar for the Budget Session (2016-17) beginning here on 25 May 2016 with the Governor’s address.
On 26, 27 and 31 May there will be discussion in the House on Motion of Thanks on the Governor’s Address, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Budget 2016-17 will be presented in the House on 30 May 2016, while General Discussion on Budget will be held on 1, 2 and 3 June.
The session in the Upper House would conclude on 2 July 2016.
