SRINAGAR: A bullet-riddled body of a non-local man was recovered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
The body was recovered from Wachi area of Zainapora in the south Kashmir district, officials said.
They said the body bore bullet injuries. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Chauhan, son of Kuldeep Chauhan, a resident of Bihar.
The body has been taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities, the officials said, adding, an investigation has started.
