SRINAGAR: Unidentified burglars made an unsuccessful bid to steal cash from a branch of Jammu Kashmir Bank in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told that during the intervening night of 19 and 20 May, some unknown burglars tried to steal cash from Drabgam branch of JK Bank in Pulwama district.
The burglars managed to damage the window of the bank branch. Sources said that despite entering into the bank, the burglars have not looted any cash.
Sources added that a police team rushed to spot to ascertain the facts. They said a case in this regard has been registered and investigation taken up. (KNT)
