The death toll of civilian killings has reached to 2o as one more youth has been shot dead by forces at Tengpora in Srinagar.
Reports reaching here said that one youth was killed in police firing on Sunday evening at Tengpora in uptown Srinagar.
The slain youth has been identified as Shabir Ahmad son of Abdul Rehman Mir. Reports said that he was chased by forces and shot at near his home.
Scores of youth were protesting against the killing of militant commander, Burhan Wani.
One cop was killed when protestors pushed a moving police bunker into Jhelum in Sangam area of Islamabad district early today.
With this fresh killing, the death toll has reached to 21 since Saturday following the killing of Burhan and his two associates on Friday evening in Kokernag area of South Kashmir.
Meanwhile, reports reaching here from Tral said that a cop was “injured after he was shot at by unknown gunmen” on Sunday.
