Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) has cancelled leaves of its staff. As per the circular issued, all medical staff on leave should report back to their place of postings immediately without any delay.
“Those who aren’t able to reach their original place of postings should contact Control Room established by Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, Barzulla for transport facility assistance or should join any nearer health institute,” reads the statement issued by DHSK. “Director Health Services, Kashmir has directed all the administrators to ensure that the hospitals and the health centers in their respective jurisdiction stay functional at all hours.”
All the hospital administrators have been also instructed to ensure that sufficient number of ambulances is deployed at places where they anticipate additional requirements.
He has also instructed the Controller of Stores to supplement medical supplies to all hospitals and ensure adequate stock of supplies is available in all health institutes.
Director Health Services Kashmir conveys all the staff who are presently engaged in the discharge of their duties presently to contact Control Room on these numbers (0194-2440283/ 0194-2430581 [8 am to 8 pm] or Incharge Control Room Dr Rehana Kausar 9906711775 , Dr Ijtaba Shafi 9419070388 ) in case of any assistance or problem faced.
