The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I) is deeply concerned over the loss of innocent lives and injuries suffered by hundreds of civilians post killing of militbt commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani by the forces.
“KCC&I calls upon the Jammu & Kashmir Government to restrain the security forces and ensure that there is no further loss of innocent precious lives,” the trade body said in a statement issued on Sunday.
“KCC&I takes strong exception to the security forces targeting the civilians above abdomen as is evidenced in the cases of those killed and the ones who have suffered injuries,” the statement said.
KCC&I expressed sympathies with the families of those killed or injured. “KCC&I also demands that all possible steps be taken to provide specialised medical treatment to the injured persons.”
