Twenty two civilians have been sot dead by forces while an SPO lost hisl ife when a moving police bunker was pushed in to Jhelum river near Sangam in South Kashmir.

Report said that Yasmeena, a resident of Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir who had sustained critical bullet injuries succumbed at SMHS hospital Sunday late evening.

And one more 13-year-old boy, identified as Asif of Zainapora Shopian was killed by forces late yesterday evening after they opened fire. Asif’s funeral prayers will be held today.

The twenty civilians who were shot dead following the killing of militant commander, Burah Wani, include:

Those killed in forces’ firing in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday were identified as Irfan Ahmad Malik of Newa, Gulzar Ahmad Pandit of Mohanpora Shopian and Fayaz Ahmad Waza of Litter. Those who succumbed to their injuries late Saturday evening were identified as Zubair Ahmed of Kaimoh (Kulgam); Feroze Mir of Began, Kulgam; Muhammad Altaf Rather of Rajpora (Pulwama), Imtiyaz Ahmed Mandoo of Mandpora Khanabal (Anantnag) and Mashook Ahmed of Kund, Qazigund.

The 12 youth who were killed on Saturday were identified as Saqib Manzoor Mir of Khundru Achabal; Khurshid Ahmed of Harwat, Kulgam; Safeer Ahmed Bhat of Chararigam;  Adil Bashir of  Dooru; Abdul Hameed Mouchi of Arwani; Danish Ayoub Shah of Achabal; Jehangir Ahmed Ganie of Hassanpora, Bijbehera; Azad Hussain of Shopian; Aijaz Ahmed Thokur of Siligam, Anantnag;  Muhammad Ashraf Dar of Halpora, Kokernag; Showkat Ahmed Mir of Hassanpora, Bijbehara and Haseeb Ahmad Ganai S/O Abdul Majid of Dialgam.
