J&K Police Headquarters Monday organized a blood donation camp to supplement the requirement of blood at various hospitals in view of the prevailing situation.
“More than 60 pints of blood were collected at a camp from police officers and the personnel who volunteered to donate the blood,” the police spokesperson said in a statement.
Additional Director General of Police (Hqrs), VK Singh followed by IGP MA Ganai, AIsG Tahir Sajjad Bhat, Sheikh Junaid, SP Gulzar Ahmed Shah, Dy. SP Farooq Ahmed, Musadiq Basoo and other police personnel of PHQ were present.
“The camp was supervised by the Doctors of SMHS and Police Hospital Srinagar,” the spokesperson said. “Later, the blood was immediately deposited at the Blood Bank of SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.”
