While reacting to the killing of civilians in Kashmir, Hurriyat (m) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday appealed the international community to ‘put pressure to immediately stop this mayhem in Kashmir’.
In a series of tweets, Mirwaiz said that “oppressive regime and their shameless collaborators have sold their souls” for power.
“As we helplessly watch our young & children being slaughtered & butchered on the streets of #Kashmir by the oppressive regime & their shameless collaborators who have sold their soul 2 the devil for remnants of power. We appeal the international community to put pressure to immediately,” tweeted Mirwaiz.

— Much smaller theocratic Muslim Pakistan tried to take Muslim Kashmir militarily in 1947, 1948, 1965, 1971, during Kargil etc. But unlike Hindu majority Goa the non-retrieve of Muslim POK by Hindu majority so-called secular India (when alienation of Kashmiris was not so-much) is costing heavy to India. Moreover India grossly underestimated the power & influence of Jihadi-Islam on Muslims of Kashmir (including POK) and Pakistan and this has rendered Indo-Pak region at threshold of war (Because Pakistan knows that presently if it conducts its politics intelligently then Kashmir is a low hanging fruit for Pakistan and which will simply not be allowed by India rather India will wage war to retrieve POK instead of witnessing second partition of India)
Now in such an explosive situation in its own interest too, China should start taking keen and active interest in the solution of Kashmir problem in order to avoid imminent war between nuclear India and Pakistan over Kashmir, as explained below:-
