As per the official statement, a total of 15,684 yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave on the 8th day of Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2016. Till date 1,18,747 Yatris had darshan of the Ice Lingam at the Holy Cave.
After the present law and order situation in Kashmir, new Yatra convoy was not allowed to proceed from Jammu to the two Base Camps on Saturday, however the Yatris who were in Kashmir paid the obeisance at the holy cave.
