While paying glowing and rich tributes to the “Kashmiri brave heart” and militant commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani who died in a gunfight with the armed forces on Friday, Syed Ali Geelani called for complete state wide shut down on Saturday.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) statement issued this late evening quoted Geelani as having called for complete shutdown tomorrow “against killing of Burhan Wani”.

He appealed people to participate in his funeral prayers in large numbers.

Geelani also appealed the people to hold funeral prayers in-absentia for Burhan Wani at their respective places who could not reach Tral.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairperson Muhammad Yasin Malik late Friday evening called for a complete shutdown on Saturday against the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani and his associates.
