The state cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah accorded sanction to the creation of 35 posts for J&K State Water Resources Regulatory Authority (JKSWRRA) for its effective functioning.

The state cabinet accorded sanction to the promotion of Pushpa Devi, Director, J&K Funds Organization, a member of the J&K Accounts Service to the super time scale of the service Rs 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs 10000 with effect from March 12, 2013. Consequent upon this the officer has been re-designated as Director General J&K Funds Organization.

The state cabinet also accorded sanction to the promotion of following members of the J&K accounts service to the special scale of 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8700 with effect from March 12, 2013.

The officers include Hardeep Kour Sudan,  Lochan Dass,  Mohammad Aslam Malik,  Ghulam Mohammad Khan,  Kuldip Singh Jamwal,  Kuldip Kumar Gupta,  Mohammad Yousuf Pandit and Neelam Gupta. Consequent upon this the officers have been designated as Director Finance in the same post they are holding presently.

The state cabinet accorded sanction to the transfer of state land measuring 110 kanals and 16 marlas situated in Village Kupri, Tehsil and District Samba in favour of J&K Home Department for establishment of IRP Battalion.

The state cabinet also accorded sanction to the grant of benefit under the provisions contained in notification SRO No 291 dated June 01, 1978 to the two librarians of the Directorate of Libraries and Research. These include Ather Naseem with effect from April 20, 1986 and  Ghulam Rasool Dar with effect from June 01, 1989.

 

Cabinet Approves PHC In Kandiwara

The state cabinet has approved upgradation of sub-center of Kandiwara District Islamabad to the level of Primary Health Centre along with creation of 16 posts of different categories.

The decision came following Chief Minister’s announcement to this effect during his visit to Kandiwara to express condolence to the families who lost their kids in a tragic road accident.

An ill-fated school bus fell into a deep gorge and took the lives of 9 school children. The Village Kandiwara has a population of about 8000 souls. The secondary level medical facility is located at a distance of about 15 kilometres at sub-district hospital Kokernag.

Responding to the need for better medical facility at Kandiwara, the Planning and Development Department and Finance Department promptly agreed to the upgradation of sub-centre at Kandiwara to the level of Primary Health Centre along with creation of 16 posts proposed by the Health Department. The posts created include two posts of Assistant Surgeons, one Dental Surgeon, one Health Educator, one Supervising Pharmacist, one Junior X-Ray Technician, one Junior Dental Technician, one Junior Lab Technician, one Junior Ophthalmic Technician.
