In the marathon cabinet meeting, Omar Abdullah has completely effected a reshuffle in the civil administration. Now Rohit Kansal is the new Divisional commissioner Kashmir as the incumbent Shalinder Kumar goes as the new Tourism Secretary.
While it may take some more time for the government to formally announce the decisions of the cabinet, informed sources told Kashmir Life Deputy Commissioners of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, Samba, Islamabad, Budgam, Pulwama and Kulgam have been transferred.
Shahid Inaytatullah is new Commissioner Labour and Employment as Sarav Bagat is the new Commissioner for Industries and Commerce. Mr Tripathi is the new IMPA chief.
