State Cabinet is meeting on Friday at Civil Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Security arrangements for Amarnath Yatra are reportedly on the agenda. A senior Minster wishing anonymity told a local news agency, KNS that the cabinet may also approve transfers of some officers besides taking decision on some other issues.
