The state government cabinet which met in Jammu under chairmanship of Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti ordered release of 6 percent dearness allowance in favour of state employees.
Ms Mufti chaired her maiden PDP-BJP cabinet meet in Jammu Monday afternoon.
The cabinet also approved establishment of new four women police stations.
The cabinet ordered CAPD to supply Atta and according to food habits of three regions of J&K.
The state government will be giving five kgs per person, parallel to what is being given under NFSA, sources said.
