Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered prescription drugs from his possession in Shergadi area here today.
Acting on a specific information, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Shergadi arrested a drug peddler identified as Muzamil Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Shaban Mir a resident of Golwanpora, Budgam. On his checking police recovered 128 bottles of prescription drug.
Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
