Hours after police posters appeared in restive Sopore town declaring bounty on two ‘HM militants’ allegedly responsible for the recent killing spree in Sopore, militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Tuesday said that Jammu Kashmir Police is subservient to Indian agencies and on the behest of these agencies it is active in weakening the ongoing Freedom Movement in Kashmir.

In a statement to CNS, Hizb spokesperson Syed Sadaqat Hussain said that being an anti-freedom movement force, Jammu Kashmir Police have no credentials to investigate the recent killings that occurred in Sopore. “Neither police have any credibility nor it can be trusted,” he said.

The Hizb spokesperson added that United Jihad Council has itself been investigating these killings and, “there are dependable proofs that the successors of Kuka Parrey in Jammu and Kashmir especially in Sopore town are still linked with police and Territorial Army.”

“Jihad Council makes it clear that whosoever is involved in these killings irrespective of his affiliation with any organization or not will be treated as Indian agent and anti-freedom movement element and he will be put to death,” Hizb said.

In another statement issued to CNS, Tehreek-Ul-Mujahideen Tuesday said that the genocide of Kashmiri people is the ultimate aim of India.

In the statement, chief of the outfit, Sheikh Jameel-Ur-Rehman said, “the sun of India has set in Kashmir and it has been fighting a losing battle. The new anti-people operation in Kashmir will give nothing to India and instead the hatred in the hearts of people against India will increase,” he said.

Expressing satisfaction over the grand alliance formed by Hurriyat leadership, TeM chief said that, “India is targeting innocent people in Kashmir as it has failed on every front to tame Kashmiri’s. Unity among Kashmiri people will prove the final nail in the coffin of India,” he said.

He said that people have been feeling insecure due to the presence of Indian Army in Kashmir. “India once again wants to create civil war situation but people are aware of Indian tactics and they will not allow India to succeed in its sinister designs,” TeM chief said adding that the motive behind the disruption of telecommunication system by India is aimed at to stop the new generation of Kashmir to highlight the plight of Kashmir’s under Indian rule on social media networking sites.
