The anti-militant operation in Pulwama village that started late last evening came to an end Tuesday after the hiding militants fled the scene, reports quoting sources said.
Militants had fired upon army patrol in Drabgam village of Pulwama district.
Police said that Army’s 44 RR patrolling party was fired upon by militants at Drabgam.
The fire was retaliated, however, there was no injury on the either side, they said.
They said that militants managed to escape from the village.
