SRINAGAR: Mixed columns of police and paramiliatries cardoned off the vast Ram Bagh locality in Srinagar during wee hours and searched houses, residents said.
During the CASO, the police forces prevented entry or exit of people from the locality. They, however, did not summon people out of their homes. Instead they knocked at all doors and seraches the homes. They were asking about the inmates as well.
Residents said they took with them one young man who was living on rent somewhere in the locality. The identity of the detained boy and details of his residence were not immediately known.
