SRINAGAR: On Monday afternoon, government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Srinagar’s Natipora neighborhood.
A section of Natipora was put under siege, and a door-to-door search operation was launched, an eyewitness told a local news agency Kashmir News Trust (KNT). Identification cards of locals were carefully scrutinized.
Unnamed sources said that police and troopers from 132 Battalion CRPF were part of the operation.
No arrests were made during the operation, which ended peacefully, according to officials. (KNT)
