Forces on Monday morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in twin villages of Bandipora district in north Kashmir.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 14 RR and special operations group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off Suribal area of Sumlar village in Bandipora.

Meanwhile, Government forces have also launched cordon and search operation in Pazalpora village of the district.

An official said that the CASO was launched by a joint team of Army’s 31 RR special operations group of Jammu and Kashmir police.

The search operation in the twin villages were going on when the last reports came in.
